THE DINING JOURNEY

 

With its reopening, Cyrus introduces an unprecedented approach to the fine dining experience. Born out of the confining stasis of traditional multi-course meals served at a single table and lasting hours at a time, an inspiration occurred:  Eating as journey; dining as journey. The idea flows from how we welcome friends into our homes - the smooth choreography that creates a successful evening, the stimulation of new encounters in new rooms, those discrete events building on each other and culminating in a single rare, irreplaceable experience.

An evening at Cyrus begins with an invitation into the Bubbles Lounge where an offering from a glittering Champagne, martini and caviar cart greets guests and sets the tone. Tastes appear from the kitchen as patrons sip libations, free to sink into a leather lounge chair or wander the gardens and vineyards. The journey then proceeds to the Kitchen Table where diners engage with the chefs directly and observe as the courses are prepared before them and the show of the bustling kitchen beyond. The next leg of the journey brings the group to the dining room with its sweeping views of Alexander Valley. Each individual party is then ensconced at their own personal table, which will remain theirs for the night. There is no rush, but a final stop on the tour leads to the mysterious Chocolate Room where guests are presented with a parting gift of house-made chocolates.

Ticketed reservations for the Dining Journey will be released 2 months in advance and in 1 month blocks. There are three seatings for up to twelve guests each evening, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm.
